Copper Harbor, MI has been our home for the last 10 days of the Big Adventure. Friends built a “cabin” on Lake Medora and have generously allowed us to stay. It is a perfectly magical place. It rained the first few days which was a blessing as I needed some down time. I pretty much read, practiced yoga, and ate healthy food. We did a little hiking too, some right on the property. David and Colleen carved out a serpentine peaceful trail. Lots of wild flowers, trees and amazing views of the lake. We ventured out to see a Civil War reenactment at Fort Wilkins State Park. There’s a picture of Bob with one of the characters. Kip, my brother, says it looks like Bob was transported into another time. My favorite spot so far is a rocky point in front of the cabin. I’m writing there, watching sunrises, and just being. We are also excited about our canoeing trips around the lake – so peaceful and quiet. Enjoy a few pictures from Copper Harbor. Next we travel south to Atlanta, GA, with a quick stop in Milwaukee for the Moss wedding. A few more days in MI paradise.
